Another Strong Defensive Effort Keeps Bison Football Undefeated in Their District
Carrell, Wittke, and Gatz score for the Bison in a 24-7 win
The Bison Football Team continued their win streak with a 24-7 victory against Roseville (2-2) tonight, bringing their record to 4-1.
The First Quarter featured a long run by running back Landon Carrell ‘25, earning the Bison a First Down, but the Bison never found the endzone. However, the Bison Defense kept Roseville down during a scoreless quarter.
For the fourth game in a row, running back Noah Wittke ‘25 scored a touchdown, putting the Bison on the scoreboard first.
The first half ended with the score tied at 7-7.
Cornerback Maxwell Griffieth ‘25 got a fumble recovery on the Roseville 6-yard line, which gave Bison the advantage in the Third Quarter.
A great defensive game was highlighted by an amazing tackle by defensive back Anthony Jordan ‘27 in the Third Quarter, which gave The Bison the advantage once again.
Wide receiver Hendrix Gatz 26’ surprised the whole crowd with a touchdown reception with 30 seconds left in the Third Quarter, giving the Bison a 17-7 lead.
Another touchdown by Landon Carrell ‘25 in the Third Quarter kept the Bison in the lead.
Next week, the Bison play in Burnsville at 6 pm.
