Prom is approaching. With this event happening in less than three weeks we are hearing warnings of drinking and driving. There is a tradition here at BHS that every other year there will be a mock crash focused on the dangers of drinking and driving.
If you are unfamiliar with the prom mock crash it has focused around drinking and driving especially on prom night. The crash would include a couple coming home from prom drunk, while driving they would hit another vehicle and people would be ejected from the car from not wearing their seat belts. There would be real police officers and fireman during the mock crash and there would be an emergency helicopter air lift.
Josh Erickson our school police officer whom organizes the even has postponed the mock crash until next year due to personal events that happened in the year of 2013.
