Everyone gets asked “What do you want to be when you grow up?” The seniors are finally leaving high school to go accomplish what they want to do. Some wonder what seniors are doing once they leave in to the big world. As some head off to college, going off to serve our country, and some will just start working.
Many seniors are still undecided and don’t know what they are doing. Counselor Christina Cox said, “Students should do what interests them. Don’t do something that you won’t like, even if there is a lot of money involved. You will be miserable.”
Some take the traditional route and head off to a college and earn a degree of some sort. Many might take a different route and do something that interests them.
Senior Mia Woodwick plans on pursuing a career as a Journalist.
“I plan on going to Iowa State University for a Four Year Degree in journalism and mass communication,” Woodwick said. “I am very happy and excited to go to college and have some change.”
