You might have noticed that the vending machines at school are offline at school until 2:20 in the afternoon but have you ever wondered why or wish they weren’t.
For some reason the schools vending machines are offline until 2:20 and nobody seems to know why. A person might think that the school would want to have them on during the school day so the snacks would go faster and they would make more money, also the students who who didn’t get enough to eat for lunch could just go and get themselves a snack to make it through the rest of the day, but it turns out the state has made a law that keeps schools from selling snacks during the day.
I would think that it would be the students’ choice as the consumer about how they spend their money.
“I think that it is stupid, because sometimes I would love a diet soda during the day, and I have to wait for lunch just to buy a bottle of water,” says Senior Jack Penney.
Many other students feel the same way, they believe that having the vending machines on during the day would be nice so they could get something to eat before or after lunch so they would not be hungry in class.
