September 21, 2009 at 7:30 pm, the 2009 Homecoming candidates lined up on the PAC stage, and waited to find out who the school voted for to be this years King and Queen.
The Seniors voted at lunch last week for who the candidates would be, and the entire school voted for the final King and Queen Thursday in SSR.
The winners were Billy Ogdahl for King, and Frances Varner for Queen.
” I thought the people made a great decision,” said Senior Nicole Spier. “I’m happy for both Billy and Francie.”
The King runner up is Brent Kettenacker, and the runner up for queen is Ashly Michalko.
Senior Alyssa Keesling said, “I’m really surprised that the won, but at the same time its what I expected.”
The Homecoming football game is Friday at seven at Cummings Field, followed by the Fun Night starting at 9:30 at the High School.
The Homecoming dance is Saturday September 26 from seven to 10.
