Approaching their final few days of practice, the girls’ gymnastics team keep their hopes high and their nerves low for todays section meet.
“I’m treating it like its just another meet and trying not to get to nervous.” Said junior Taylor Haider. Haider is hoping to get close or make it to state in the beam and on the floor. To make it to state you must place in the top four of the event.
The section meet will take place today at five o’clock at the Twin Oaks Middle School in Prior Lake. For the ones who hope to advance to the state meet, that will be held at Uof M on February the 25 and 26.
