Football Team’s Win Streak Over After Loss to Minnetonka
Strong fourth quarter by the Skippers keeps Bison at bay
The Bison Football Team faced Minnetonka, one of their toughest opponents of the season, last night. They kept the game close for three quarters against the Skippers, but lost the game 7-40.
The Bison’s five-game winning streak ended, but they remain the back-to-back Maroon District Champions. The Skippers’ strong fourth-quarter performance put away the Bison, who mounted several drives that went deep into Minnetonka territory but failed to result in scores.
Next week the Bison have their last game of the regular season before playoffs start. They travel to face Prior Lake on October 17 at 1 p.m.
