Mohammed Subhi is likely to open for Smokepurpp this Spring
Buffalo rapper Mohammed Subhi, “Lil Trivial” will likely be opening a show for famous rapper Smokepurpp this Spring. Smokepurp has 616,000 followers on SoundCloud, and has a single that went platinum.
“I will be opening up for Smokepurpp, possibly around April in Minneapolis,” Subhi said, “and I have opened up for Blac Youngsta at the end of January, which is amazing because it was my first time opening, and shows keep getting bigger. I am working on more music and possibly a mixtape. I try to focus on school and music together but it gets hard sometimes.”
Subhi has over 50,000 plays on SoundCloud, and over 3,700 followers on Instagram. He also has a following throughout the high school.
“I love watching him when he performs because he is very energetic and knows what he is doing,” said Sophomore Mackenzie Retterath, who calls herself one of his biggest fans. “I can tell he gets nervous at first, but then he gets comfortable. He does a really amazing job”.
The venue of the concert is yet to be determined, but the concert will be in the Twin Cities. The expected date of the show is in April.
