The Buffalo Boys Lacrosse team headed to Chaska to take on the Chaska/Chanhassen Storm hawks Tuesday, May 25, the game started at 7:00.
The Bison came in to the section Quarter finals with a record of 1-10 while Chaska/Chanhassen Came in with a strong record of 10-3.
“We were excited to play,”said Senior Hunter Stenberg. “It was a fresh start and a new season.”
The Buffalo Bison played well but Chaska/Chanhassen was just to strong of a team. Chaska/Chanhassen scored their first two goals in the first Quarter. They slid four more past Senior goaltender Nick weeks in the second quarter, leaving the Bison scoreless and down by six going into half time. The game didn’t get any easier for the Bison either. Chaska/Chanhassen added another six in the second half and beating the Bison 12-0, advancing into section semifinals play leaving the Buffalo boys lacrosse first season to an end.
“It wasn’t how we wanted our season to go,”said Senior Louie Clifton.”but we had fun and made many memories.”
