Bison Football Beats the Blaze, Becomes Back-to-Back District Champs

Running Back Noah Wittke '25 scores three times for the Bison, working with a dominant offensive line

The Bison Football Team is the Back-to-Back Maroon District Champions after beating the Burnsville Blaze 38-12 tonight. They move to 5-0 in the district and improve their season record to 5-1 with another dominant performance. They are 10-0 over the past two seasons in District play.

Running Back Noah Wittke ‘25 scored three times for the Bison.

The First Quarter featured an amazing play by Wittke, who gave the Bison a long First Down run. Later during the opening quarter, Wittke scored his first touchdown, which brought the Bison back from a rare deficit on the score board.

The Bison Ended the First Quarter up 7-6.

In the Second Quarter, kicker Emile Robotier ‘25 recovered a fumble. Seconds later, Wittke scored another touchdown.

Wide Receivers Jackson Coss ‘26’ ends the half with a receiving touchdown. Both touchdowns in the quarter were a result of fumble recoveries.

Bison went into Halftime with the 24-6 lead.

Wittke scored his third touchdown of the game just seconds into the 3rd quarter and the Bison ended the quarter up 31-6

Running Back Isaak Herzberg ‘25 scored a touchdown in the beginning of 4th quarter and the Bison ended the game 38-12.

Next week, the Bison face off against Minnetonka.
