BHS chooses the 5 class, three trimester schedule for the 2023-24 school year
The school board will decide to approve the change November 22
BHS has taken another step in choosing a new schedule for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. On October 19, the high school introduced the five class, trimester schedule to the school board.
Core classes will become two trimesters, and other two quarter classes may become either one or two trimesters. In addition to having more classes per day, students will have fewer class choices because of the change. Classes will likely be near 60 minutes instead of the 80 minute blocks.
The school board will make the final decision on the change the next time they meet, which will be on November 22.
