Rebecca KohnenBetween all of the winter sport athletes at Buffalo High School, there is a lot of speculation between which sport is more fun to watch. The bigger crowds are at the basketball and hockey games. What sport is more fun to watch?
In a poll of 100 random students, 64 said that they would rather watch hockey, 20 said basketball, and 16 said other. Of the 16 votes for other, 6 were for wrestling. This is a rather small sample size from our school but, 64% for hockey is pretty convincing. Why is this number so high?
“I think that a majority of people in Minnesota like hockey where as more people in other states like basketball.” Said Senior Trevor Mishler. “I think that we are raised with a strong presence of hockey.”
