Gymnastics Starts Off There Season

The Buffalo Bison Gymnastics Team started practicing on Monday of November 16th since then the girls have participated in one fundraising activity. Taking place at the Cub Foods grocerie store this group of girls spent a 12 hour shift, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. bagging groceries on November 23rd. The girls raised around $1600. The money will go towards new warm-ups and loetards.

“Its going to be really exciting to see what the our team can show against St. Francis. In practices we have worked harder than I’ve ever seen, and even though we’ll have a few girls out it will just be the beggining of a great season,” said Freshmen Lindsay Babler.

The Bison host there first meet on Friday, December 4th against St. Francis. The meet starts at 6:30 p.m and the next meet is the following Tuesday, December 8th at 6:30 p.m. The Bison will enter there first meet with already two girls on the injured list. Juniors Dani Nordin and Alicia Malawicki, who are both combination all-arounders. Nordin is out with a strained ACL and Malawicki is out with an anckle injury.
