Boys’ Swim Team Has a Bittersweet Meet

The boys swim team won against Andover at the pool on Tuesday night.

They won with a final score of 104 to 82. This also meant saying goodbye to seven seniors; Alex Ryan, Blake Solberg, Zac Ransom, Will Elliot, David Zaske, Brandon Morain, and Jamie Green.

There were many highlights from Tuesday’s meet that left the boys feeling good about the future meets. Solberg took first place in diving with a score of 287.35 which beat his personal best by almost thirty points.

Junior JD O’Donnell also had a good meet, finishing first in the 200IM with a time of 2:10. Sophomore Jack Elliot also placed first in his varsity 500 freestyle with one of his best times of 5:15.8.

Buffalo is hosting JV Conference champs, at the pool tonight at five o’clock. The varsity will have their section meet in Alexandria on February 25 and 26 and hope to send some to state at the University of Minnesota March 3-5.
