Boys Hockey falls to Rogers

The Boys’ Hockey team fell to Rogers 2-1 on Thursday. Aaron Rouse scored the only goal for the Bison, assisted by Cody Elleteson and Anthony Thein.  The boys game was marred with a bench-clearing brawl.

Rogers scored with eight seconds left in the first period on power play, putting the Bison down 1-0, Rogers again scored with a minute left in the second period. The Bison stepped up their game  and gained possession most of third period where they scored a goal the last two minutes of power play.

The end of the  game got more intense as both teams knew time was running out, causing high  frustration and aggressiveness. At the end of the game, the feelings boiled over and resulted in a fight that cleared both benches. A total of eight players received  a game misconduct penalty, including four Bison players.
