Buffalo FFA Successfully Holds First WSCA Game Show

On Sunday, May 31st 2009, the Buffalo FFA Chapter held it’s first horse show.

The show was a qualifying WSCA Game Show, meaning that the top two placing horse/rider combination are eligible for the annual Champ show, held September 24-28th. The judge was Vee Ann Wood, who provided helpful insight to the younger riders, as well as keeping the classes moving thruought the day.

The Buffalo FFA Horse Team was behind organizing the show, along with their coach, Abby Duncanson. Chapter members and family members ran the show office, concession stand, gates, ring crew, ribbons, and  the announcers booth.

“The Show was a huge successs,” said Duncanson, “the show went so well, it really calmed alot of fears for next year.”

The money raised at the show will benefit the entire chapter and the funds will go towards paying for chapter, region, and state activities and contests.

A big Thank You goes out to all of the participants who helped out to make our show possible! Look for us at www.WSCA.org/ondeck.
