School Board releases district-wide survey regarding budget reductions

The survey allows voters a chance to voice their opinions on issues facing the district and potential cuts

After announcing substantial budget cuts for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years, the school board has created a survey to find out how much community members know about the budget cuts and what their views are on the issues.

This survey gives community members the opportunity to voice concerns and opinions. The following statement is from the Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School Board:

“The district is administering a community-wide survey. We would like to get your feedback on the funding challenges the district is facing. The district’s Insider newsletter will be in mailboxes in the next day or two. PLEASE take the time to read about the district’s situation and complete the survey. A printed version of the survey is included in the Insider, but we ask, if you are able, to complete the survey online. The website and an access number will be on the back page of the Insider. If you need an additional code for other adults in your household (18 and older), you may contact the district office at 763-682-8706. PARENTS–you will receive an email (TODAY), from School Perceptions, with an access number and a link to the survey. The survey will be open until June 17.”

BHS Students who will be 18 years old by November 5, 2019, may request to have a survey sent to them. For more information on the survey contact the district office at 763-682-8706.
