Pokemon, Ice cream, and Chocolate Cupcake HoHo’s- the life of Joe DuBois

BHS senior Joe DuBois is 15-years old and graduating from Buffalo High School on June 10. These qualities make him very unique, but there’s more to the story than that. DuBois has a wide range of interesting attributes including, his choice of lunch and hobbies.

A typical lunch at BHS usually is pretty healthy. However, there are many extra side options. At lunch, you will not find Joe eating a regular lunch that BHS provides, but instead enjoying a towering ice cream cone or chocolaty hoho’s. Recently he has devoured a record of 10 packs of hoho’s in the matter of minutes. Usually he eats 2 ice cream cones at lunch, but like a typical boy, his friends challenged him to stop eating ice cream so he has switched to hoho’s.

“I love eating ice cream and other sweets at school,” said DuBois. “It is way better than getting a regular lunch and it cost way less. My friends always try to challenge me to not eat ice cream for one whole month so I didn’t, and no one even noticed so I switched back to ice cream.”

Another interesting attribute about Joe has is that he has the whole Pokemon collection memorized in order from the first card ever created to the present card. During his classes, you will find Joe putting the cards in order and telling his friends every detail on each card. It is pretty amazing.

“People always ask me how I memorized all the Pokemon cards , but I don’t try to memorize them, it just happened over a couple years when I was 8 years old,” said DuBois.

Joe is a senior and has left an impact on BHS.
