AI Foundation Give Great Performances

AI Foundation Showcase 2011 featured The Artistic Unknown in the Performing Arts Center at Buffalo High School.  The AI foundation is students The show was on Monday, January 24 and at 7:30 pm the fun began.

The show kicked off with the cast in “The Searchers”.  After the cast Cody Neukom awed everyone with his skills playing an electric guitar.  The audience was treated to poems, songs,  skits, and musical solos.  A skit about old people lightened the mood after a heart felt monologue by Becca Bzdok.  TY Lawlor, Kaylee Velde, and Ashley Godfrey amazed the audience  wile preforming a signing song with the help of a few black lights.  Act one was ended with a tribal dance by Block Two.

After a 15 minute intermission the audience had lots more in store.   Act two featured lots of songs, an amazing violin solo played by Anna Humphrey, and a few songs that the audience would know like “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Love The Way You Lie”.

The show was ended with a performance by Megan Shipley who covered “Firework”  by Katie Perry, and the cast waving flashlights and dancing.

It was definatly an experience. Now to see how well they do next year.
