Last night, Buffalo High School’s Girls Softball team took on a very competitive North Branch team who took second place last year in the MSHSL AAA Softball tournament at Caswell Park in Mankato.
Play yesterday was 0-0 in the 3rd inning, and then in the fourth inning, North Branch snuck one run in, off of Bison errors, making it 1-0. Bison Quickly retaliated with four runs at the top of the fifth, making it 1-1.

This was a big win for the team, taking out the anticipated conference winners.
Regarding the win, Senior Jordan Zrust said, ” This was one of the games that we didn’t anticipate winning, but working together as a team, and taking advantage of our opportunities, helped us come out with a win”.
