The Top 5 worst things about watching movies at school

Not all Movie Days are created equal

Every student looks forwards to movie days at school, but there are things that can make watching them unenjoyable. Here are the top 5 worst things about school movies.

5. Students talking during the movie

Talking is something everyone does, but some people don’t know when to stop. Their conversations can make it hard to hear the audio and it’s also distracting. This is number 5 since it has a simple solution and you can sometimes tune it out.

4. When someone or something is in the way

Front row students don’t have to worry about this one too much, but people behind tall people or people in the back suffer the most. You can’t see the whole screen which makes it very annoying to deal with especially when something important happens in the part of the screen you cant see. You will sometimes leave with a sore neck from leaning or stretching your head too much.

3. Glare on the screen

This one is similar to number 4, but what makes it worse is that you can kinda see, but also not see. Instead of watching the movie, you’re looking at the light that never goes away. It’s also annoying when the teacher leaves the lights on so you can barely see.

2. Stopping or pausing

Whether it’s an old disk or bad wifi, this disrupts the movie and wreaks the flow. One second you’re watching, the next you’re waiting for it to load. Once this starts happening, you can almost feel the frustration of the students.

1. Taking notesĀ

This one is self-explanatory. You try to find whatever you’re looking for on the worksheet rather than watching and just enjoying it. Name one student that likes taking notes on a movie, you can’t.
