Rough week for Boys’ Swim and Dive

With a record of 6 wins and 2 losses, the boy’s swim and dive team heads into a challenging week.

boyss2            They have meets on Tuesday and Thursday, one away and one home. Then on Friday they play hooky and leave school at 9 A.M. to head up to Hibbing for a dual meet. They will try to get some sleep in Hibbing because the next day they have yet another meet. The Saturday meet is in Alexandria and will also be a dual meet. The meet starts at 5 and will go late into the night. After all that the boys have to climb on a bus and travel back to Buffalo.

            With 4 meets and 2 practices the coach felt it necessary to have a early practice on Friday morning at 6 A.M. They hope to better their record and keep themselves in the running for Conference Champions. “The 2 practices are critical because sections is this month and we need to work as hard as possible to get good times,” says coach Ryan Rehnstrand. They are looking forward to sections and taking it one day at a time. The meet on Thursday, Feb. 5 is at home and it will be against Cambridge, it will be a meet to remember. You won’t want to miss it.
