Girls’ Basketball takes second victory over Cambridge-Isanti

Bison girls captured another Conference win over Cambridge-Isanti with a total score 62-43 on Tuesday at home. The win keeps the Bison holding the number two seed in the conference. The Bison are 10-1 in conference and 17-3 overall.

The two teams were neck and neck throughout the first half resulting in a 23-18 lead over the Blue Jackets at halftime. The Bison came out during the second half with a consistant lead the remaining of the game. Molly Muntifering, number 41, lead the Bison with a total of 15 points. Behind her were Alexa Thielman, number 32, and Courtney Daniels, number 10, scoring 8 points each. “Cambridge-Isanti is one of our toughest teams to play in the conference,” said Senior Courtney Daniels, “They always play us tough at home.”

The Bison’s next game will be at Roger’s High School tomorrow at 7:30p.m.
