CIS Classes Attend Field Day

Throughout the period of each CIS (College In School) class, one day is set aside for students to visit the campus of whatever college may accept the credits they earn just by passing the course.

Field Days are put together for the purpose of  getting a better understanding of what it might be like for a student attending a university and taking the same classes, along with being introduced to some of the professors that teach those classes, or others that are somewhat similar.

While attending these days is optional, teachers strongly suggest doing so, so that students may get a taste of what it may be like if they decide to continue on with similar courses post high school.

The dates for field days are varied, with CIS Writing teacher Joel Squadroni‘s class attending on Wednesday, September 22, and CIS Spanish IV teacher Daryl Boeckers class having the option to attend one of two dates:  Tuesday, April 5 or Thursday, April 7.
