Influenced By One Another

“I love you,” says Logan Blum to boyfriend Devon Bainey. This phrase of affection means something different when said to different people. Logan and Devon have been dating for 7 months and feel comfortable saying the “big L word.” High school is a place to easily make many relationships; such as friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, and teachers. In different relationships people tend to act in a different manner. As these relationships grow, their actions and interests start to influence who they are. “I never would have imagined myself ever going to the Renaissance Festival,” Logan says. After meeting Devon, Logan was able to go to the Renaissance Festival to experience and enjoy something so foreign to her own interests. Although this “young love” seems so real, nothing can compare to the unconditional love from family. For Logan the life of horses has never seemed abnormal, since she was raised in that environment by her mother. This connection between her and her mother continues to grow over the years. Without her mother’s influence, Logan wouldn’t be the horse lover she is today. Any relationship you may build will ultimately shape who you are as a person.
