Seniors freeze in the light at the end of the tunnel

While the school year starts to come to the end, Seniors are counting down the days. With 13 days remaining, some seniors are finding it hard to maintain the motivation they had earlier in the year.

“Graduation is something to look forward too. It gives you that feeling that you finally did it and all your hard work finally paid off. We have to wait a long time for this day so it’s worth it in the end but I’m not going to lie, I’m definitely nervous and excited at the same time,” said Senior Savanha Gravening.

When asked, most Seniors agreed that staying out late and hanging out with friends is what they are looking forward to the most.

“I love hanging out with my friends! It’s the best part about summer so I can’t wait until graduation. We spend so much time together out on the lake. I know that I will miss them when I go to college,” said Senior Angelee Hale.

Cap and gowns were distributed May 19th and that’s a key to seniors that graduation is one step closer. Graduation is June 11th at 7 PM in the gym.
