The Music Department held their only band concert that featured all three bands on February 6 in the Performing Arts Center.
This is the only concert which consists of the three bands performing in the same night.
The night started off with the Freshman Band, followed with Varsity Band and lastly the Concert Band. Among the three there was a total of twelve pieces played that lasted about an hour and a half.
During the night there was a guest appearance of the bands old director, Lee Kjesbo, who conducted the concert band in the piece “Buffalo Dances” inspired by the city of Buffalo.
“I think young musicians need to be reminded of our history,” said current director Scott Rabehl, “and Kjesbo is apart of their lineage.”
