Sam Munoz Memorial Baseball Game this Saturday

On Saturday, April 23 the Buffalo Bison Baseball team will be hosting the 4th annual Sam Munoz Memorial baseball game. Every year, the Bison dedicate and play a game in honor of former Buffalo High School student, Sam Munoz, who loved and played the game of baseball before he passed away in October 2007, due to injuries he sustained in a serious car accident.

This year, Buffalo will play the New Prague Trojans with the J.V. game starting at 4, followed by the Varsity game which is scheduled to start at 6:30. The games will be played at the Bentfield Mills City Park in Buffalo.

Along with the games, a silent auction will be held, there will be memorial t-shirts for purchase, and door prizes will also be given away. All proceeds raised by this event will go to the Sam Munoz Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is given to Buffalo Bison Senior Baseball Player’s who give 100% to the team.
