Girls’ hockey victorious over Cambridge

Buffalo had a strong performance Tuesday January 18, beating the Cambridge Blue Jackets 3-1.

Sam Noetzelman scored the first goal in the first period. The Bison lead 1-0 after the 1st period. Buffalo kept the strong performance and scored two more in the second; Lindsay Roethke scoring the 2nd and 3rd goals of the night.

It was not until the 3rd where the Blue Jackets scored there 1st and only goal of the night. The girls are undeafted in the Mississippi 8 conference and have there eyes set on Conference champs.

There next game is Friday January 21 where mound is hosting the 12-7 Buffalo Bison.

“This is the first year they are not in our Conference” said Emily Ackmann, “it is definitely gong to be a head to head game and very intense Mound is 5th in the state but with a good game there beatable.”
