Miss Buffalo applications are due by January 15

It’s that time of year again when Miss Buffalo candidates are needed for next year.

“It’s a great oppurtunity to meet new people and visit towns,” said former Miss Buffalo Ashley Michalko. “Not only that but it’s a realy good expierience.”

Miss Buffalo travels almost every weekend to a different city and participate in the towns parade and sit in the “Sparkle Section” that includes all the other towns queens and princesses, during the cornation.

“I not only just became close with the two other girls that I was with (princess Alyssa Tryggeseth and Maggie O’Donnell),” said Michalko. “But I also became quite close to some of the firls from other towns seeing them every weekend between the parades and sitting in the sparkle section.”

Applications are available at the front office and are due by January 15. There is no cost to be a candidate.

“I believe I’ve grown as as a person even,” said former Buffalo Princess Alyssa Tryggeseth. “For one, I’d much rather see other people having fun then myself, thats pretty cool to see. It’s also a ton of fun when we sleep overnight at the hotel and have a girls night. Now that is a blast!”
