Teacher Sheri Tamte held a meeting on Wednesday March 14, during AAA for students to custom design VANS shoes. VANS shoe company is doing a national contest for canvas shoes, and those who win the contest get their shoe design created, produced and sold.
Students have four designs to choose from: the shoes can either be art related, music, local flavor (example horses), and action sports. First you put your design on paper, and turn it in to Teacher Sheri Tamte in room A109 by March 26.
Then students from BHS choose the four they like best, and those four people then transfer their design onto a real shoe and get them sent in. VANS then chooses who wins.
